Sharing Smiles at Home of Hope

Gapstars team had the pleasure of visiting and spending time at the Home of Hope last weekend, welcomed by Sharmini and Alfi, Directors of the home.

The Home of Hope is a special place, near to our hearts at Gapstars. The journey began almost 11 years ago when our co-founders began traveling to Sri Lanka to help manage the home and eventually build Gapstars.

The Home of Hope is a Voluntary Social Service Organization and a Non Governmental Organization caring for orphaned and destitute children and other needy persons in the rural community around Digana, Kandy Sri Lanka. The Project is situated on a 25-acre land 20 KM away from Kandy and now provides various facilities such as a computer center, batik workshop, handloom and sewing center, carpentry centre and library, western music and kandyan Dancing which enrich the lives of the children.
